Welcome to Leg 4! Last time, on The Amazing Race European Czech Self Driving Challenge, 11 teams continued racing through the Czech Republic. The Trainwreck Alliange was forms by the Turbinators, the Law Bros and Sister Sister. And the alliance paid off, with Natalie and Stephanie getting first place. Kat and Alex bemoaned the fact they were tenth, but it was Megan and Mann, the newlyweds, who couldn’t make it to the Pit Stop in time and were eliminated. Who will be eliminated. . . next? Unless they don't know where that is, and in that case ask for the station and don't tell people "We need to go to Budapest"?”)
Clue: Make your way by overnight train to Budapest, Hungary! Once there, make your way by metro and on foot to the Szechenyi Thermal Baths to get your next clue.

Teams now book their trains to Budapest. We discover that there are two options, one with three stops that gets in sooner, and a direct train that gets in later. (Toyouke: “After the last time they all took trains, you'd think they would be OK with an hour later arrival, especially when you're in the front of the pack. They want to risk three connections in the middle of the night?”) The Amazing Red Train Lines take us on a journey once teams get on the following trains:

Teams now make their way to Szechenyi Thermal Baths. When teams arrive, they get their clue in the following order:

Teams are now instructed to put on their swimsuits and enter the baths to find the king. Teams must figure out that there are a lot of people playing chess, and they need to find a specific chess match to find the king. What they also must figure out is how to open their clue once they receive it. Teams find the king way too quickly for me to admire the men in their bathing suits and get their clues in the following order:

Teams are now instructed to travel on foot to Varosligeti Mujegpalya to get their next clue. Teams make their way on foot and get their clue in the following order:

Tucker and Eric open their clue and find. . . a Fast Forward!
FAST FORWARD:
Recall (if you can, since they show up rarely anymore) that a fast forward is a task that can be performed to allow one team to skip all remaining tasks and head directly to the pit stop. However, each team may only use their fast forward power once on the race, so they must decide when it is more advantageous to use it. In this, the first fast forward on this race, teams must enter the building and speed solve a Rubik’s Cube. Each team member must solve in under 7.5 seconds and must complete the task within the same attempt. (Toyouke: “OK I feel much better knowing the Rubik's Cube was a Fast Forward and not a task everyone had to do.”) If successful, they may travel directly to the Pit Stop.
Teams decide to go for the Fast Forward in the following order:
1- Tucker/Eric
So, Oh Brother takes the risk on the Rubik’s Cube and it pays off. (Toyouke: “I can't believe those boys solved a Rubik's Cube though.”) They are instructed to make their way to the Pit Stop at Buda Castle, Varkert Bazar.
The other teams are instructed to travel by taxi to Ludovica Huszar Lovarda to find their next clue. Teams arrive in the following order:
1- Natalie/Stephanie
2- Izzy/Paige
3- Hannah/Simone
4- Jas/Jag – who struggled to get a cab due to their turbans. (Toyouke: “You know what, the taxi drama is the one thing I got spoiled on this week. I don't disagree with their assessment. Although you're going to distrust a pair of men with a camera crew?”)
5- Joseph/Adam – who get horribly turned around once they get to the location. (Toyouke: “How did they get so lost?”)
6- Kat/Alex

When teams open their clue, teams come to the fifth roadblock.
ROADBLOCK:
Who
thinks they can coach?
In
this roadblock, one team member must learn how to guide a horse drawn
carriage through a figure 8 course in under 45 seconds. Once they
successfully complete the challenge by going through all the gates
and not knocking over any cones, team will receive their next clue
from the adjudicator.
(Toyouke: “I love this set-up outside to teach them how to steer.”) The following team members complete the Roadblock.

Teams are now instructed to travel to the House of Houdini and find a locked box that contains their next clue. They arrive and find the locked boxes in the following order:

2- Izzy/Paige
3- Jas/Jag – who arrive by metro to avoid using another taxi. (Toyouke: “It's sad that Jas and Jag just assume they won't get another cab.”) And they find another guy in a turban to help them!

7- Kat/Alex
8- Kristine/Rubina
9- Hannah/Simone
Teams open the locks, followed by the box, only to find it empty, until they find the false bottom where the clue is hidden. Teams find their clues in the following order:

2- Izzy/Paige
3- Jas/Jag
4- Kyland/Taylor
5- Joseph/Adam – who break their key in one of the locks.
6- Jack/Chelsie
7- Kat/Alex
8- Kristine/Rubina
9- Hannah/Simone – who flip the false bottom upside down and almost miss the clue.
Teams open their clues and we get the second Detour Clue.
DETOUR:
Juggling Act OR Balancing Act
*Juggling Act: Teams make their way to the Capital Circus of Budapest. Once there, teams must choose an instructor and learn how to juggle five hoops in tandem. They must then sustain the juggling for 10 seconds. Once completed, the ringmaster will give them their next clue.
*Balancing Act: Teams make their way to Vasas Szakszervezeti Szovetseg. Once there, teams must choose an instructor and put on a traditional costume before learning a dance. One person must balance a bottle on their head as part of the routine. Once teams complete the dance to the satisfaction of the dance instructor, teams get their next clue.
(Toyouke: “Who is going to pick juggling unless they already know how to juggle? But the stupid bottle balancing? Both these options are garbage.”)
1- Natalie/Stephanie choose Balancing Act – and Stephanie lets us know she hasn’t worn a dress in 18 years, while Natalie lets us know that she’s a professional dancer.
2- Izzy/Paige choose Balancing Act
3- Jas/Jag choose Balancing Act
4- Kyland/Taylor choose Juggling Act – (Toyouke: “Taylor and Kyland just immediately juggling like they've been practicing. Wild. And whoever put the music to Taylor and Kyland's successful attempt needs a raise. They matched the beat of the music to the throws and it was fantastic.”)
5- Joseph/Adam choose Juggling Act
6- Jack/Chelsie choose Balancing Act – and Chelsie lets us know that she’s a dancer.
7- Kat/Alex choose Balancing Act – and Kat informs us that she’s a professional dancer.
8- Kristine/Rubina choose Balancing Act
9- Hannah/Simone choose Balancing Act – who both happen to be dancers. (Toyouke: “So many "professional dancers"”)
Much dancing and juggling ensues. So, teams complete the detour in the following order:

6- Joseph/Adam – on their 134th attempt. (Toyouke: “I know each attempt is under 10 seconds, but I feel like 133 attempts is well past Bald Snarking territory?” Kmanpat: “And we haven’t had a Bald Snark yet this season.”)

9- Kat/Alex
Teams are now instructed to make their way to Buda Castle and find Varkert Bazar, the PIT STOP of the fourth leg of this racearoundtheworld. The last team to arrive WILL be eliminated!
