TAR 39, Recap Leg 0 9/23/26

 

Welcome back to the Amazing Race! It’s season number thirty-nine. We’ve only had to wait about a year for this one, even though it filmed last year. So this will be the first season in which we never touch the contiguous 48 states, and the first one since the COVID seasons where we have a non-American starting line. Oh, and I brought Toyouke along for the snark. Aren’t you lucky? Thankfully, we get Instagram videos of each of the teams this year, so it at least gives us a starting point. Project Runway 9/10/26--"The Finale" summary

Previously on “Project Runway”: Jeffrey was eliminated and Bryan was Saved, because fuck you is why. Everyone had to make both a wedding dress and a reception dress. The winner got their looks sold at David's Bridal, and I know you all already know it looked terrible and nowhere near the actual design. Anyway, Anna won, because she hadn't won yet, and she and Jude were in. Bi was also in. So I was briefly happy about Bryan being gone, but of course the judges decided they could maybe do a fourth finalist. Sigh. (click for more)

Project Runway 9/3/26--"Put a Ring on It" summary

 

Previously on “Project Runway”: No one was eliminated so all that drama was for nothing. Bryan sulked because Jeffrey called him out and he was mad no one stood up for him. Honestly he was a pain in the ass all episode and the producers put in as many sound bites from him as possible. I guess to make us hate watch. The actual challenge was to make outfits inspired by dance styles, which is not the worst challenge. Jude won, because Jude is good at this. Jeffrey and Bryan were both eliminated, and then Christian revealed he had a Save this whole time and he's decided to save one of them. (click for more)
