Welcome to Leg 2! Last time, on The Amazing Race European Adventure Without a Starting Line, 13 teams started Amazing Race 38 in Hoorn, Netherlands. Kyland and Taylor got the Express Pass, and then gave a second one to Jas and Jag, who ended up winning the leg. Dating couple Kat and Alex and married couple Megan and Matt handled being in the back of the pack in very different ways, but Jack and Enzo, the Jersey Bros, were ultimately unable to overcome their Hazard and were eliminated. Clue: Take the train through Germany to Prague, Czech Republic! Once there, take the metro and then travel by foot to the Zizkov Television Tower to get your next clue.

1) Megan/Matt (Toyouke: “Oof. The only team on the last train.”)
Train 1 teams make it to Berlin. . . but get off at Spandau, not Gesundbrunnen. (Toyouke: “I KNEW that one shot of the woman saying "It's not the main station" was foreshadowing!”) So, decisions are made. Three teams get different tickets from Spandau. (Toyouke: “VERY smart to get new tickets but also make sure they got others to do it. So if it backfires they aren't alone.”) The other five teams get back on their original train and continue their original route, albeit by getting different trains in Berlin and Dresden.
Train #1A, Berlin-Spandau to Prague, arrives 8:12 AM

In the meantime, the Train 2 teams make it to Frankfurt, and wait for their train . . . which was cancelled. So they make plans to take a train to Regensberg, and meet up with a train arriving in Prague at 10:22 AM.

When they get on the train at Regensberg, Megan and Matt find them, so teams are together again!

When teams arrive at the tower, teams come to the second roadblock.
ROADBLOCK:
Who
wants a breath of fresh air?
In
this roadblock, one team member must go to the top of Zizkov Tower
and walk out on a plank 250 feet in the air to get a clue below the
platform. Once they have the clue, they may return to the tower with
their team member.

Teams are now instructed to travel by Metro and by foot to the Charles Bridge and find Kriznovnicke Namesti, the statue of Charles IV. (Toyouke: “I'm not sure teams are figuring out where the clue is so much as they are running around and seeing it.”) They arrive and find the clue box in the following order:

7- Tucker/Eric – who accidently go to the Josef Manes statue first and end up at the Pit Stop, before being sent back to this location by Phil.

Teams open their clues and we get the first Detour Clue.
DETOUR:
Remember The Chair OR Handle With Care
*Remember The Chair: Teams make their way on for to U Fleku Restaurant. Once there, teams must search the chairs for the crests of eleven cities: Vyskov, Belcice, Chomtov, Sec, Rajhrad, As, Fryelknet, Trebon, Brno, Bochov, and Bojanov. The cities are on the chairs, and teams must learn how to pronounce them. Once teams have memorized all 11 crests and cities, they must take a test with a local historian to name them correctly. Once approved, teams get their next clue.
*Handle With Care: Teams make their way on foot to Staroceska Kavarna. When teams arrive, they must get three delivery slips and pack 48 goblets made of Czech Glass to deliver to three different locations: Kafe & Hrnky, Neruda Café and U Zavesenyko Kafe. Once the correct number and color of goblets are delivered to all three locations, teams return to Staroceska Kavarnato turn in their slips and get their next clue.

Teams are now instructed to travel by foot to the Josef Manes statue. (Toyouke: “Why not send them to the Pit Stop from the end of the Detour?”) Teams arrive and find the clue in the following order:

4- Tucker/Eric – who coincidentally, re-arrive at this location in the same order that they arrived when they made the mistake earlier.

Teams are now instructed to make their way on foot to Zofin Palace, the PIT STOP of the second leg of this racearoundtheworld. The last team to arrive WILL be eliminated!
1- Jas/Jag – who win Expedia One Key Cash for a trip for two to Sri Lanka.

4- Tucker/Eric – who reveal that they stopped for magnets and ice cream on their second visit to the Pit Stop.
