Welcome to Leg 8! Last time, on Let’s Get Bromantic!, 6 teams continued to race through France. Luis and Derek had a bromance, Emily still has a hurting leg, and Marcus struggled at the Roadblock. Aubrey and David continued to struggle finishing, but once again are safe after the NFL Cheerleaders had difficulty navigating and were eliminated. Who will be eliminated. . . next? (click for more)

Teams are whisked away to Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, and their charter flight to a new destination. Once there, teams will be transported by Amazing Yellow Line to the Pit Start Location, the Castillo de Gibralfaro in Malaga, Spain to begin a megaleg, with two Roadblocks, two Detours, two cities, and double the ways to make crazy racer mistakes.

Clue: Welcome to Málaga, Spain and the Megaleg! Make your way on foot to Plaza de la Merced to get your next clue. You have 0 Euro for this leg of the Race.
(Toyouke: “At least "You have zero Euro" for a classic no money leg. But without being able to take taxis ever it doesn't matter a lot, does it?”)

Emily/Molly (3rd) – and Emily’s leg is still hurting from 4 legs ago.

Teams get their clue in the following order:
1- Derek/Claire

3- Emily/Molly
4- Marcus/Michael
5- Aubrey/David
So teams make their way to the plaza to get their next clue. Teams arrive in the following order:
1- Derek/Claire
2- Luis/Michelle
3- Aubrey/David
4- Marcus/Michael
5- Emily/Molly – because Emily is still hurt. And they started at the top of a hill. (Toyouke: “So you knew you had an injured contestant...and then decided to make everyone start at the top of a hill.”)
When they rip open the clue, teams get the ninth roadblock.
ROADBLOCK:
Who will be the master of pieces?
In this roadblock, one team member must team up with a painters assistant and place six painted glass plates in a frame to recreate Pablo Picasso’s Three Musicians. Once correct, the artist will give them their next clue.
(Toyouke: ”So...they get an assistant...to help them lift glass. Not to help solve. So why couldn't this have been a Detour?”)
The following teammates take the Roadblock:

(Toyouke: “Look how many people are just hanging around watching. That lady tried to take pictures!”) After much glass plate arranging, teams complete the Roadblock in the following order:
1- Derek/Claire
2- Aubrey/David

4- Emily/Molly
5- Marcus/Michael
Teams are now instructed to make their way to the Màlaga Cathedral and pick up bicycles to ride to their next destination. Teams get their bicycles in the following order:
1- Derek/Claire
2- Aubrey/David
3- Luis/Michelle
4- Emily/Molly
5- Marcus/Michael
Teams are instructed to ride their bicycles to El Cubo at the Port of Màlaga to get their next clue. Teams arrive in the following order:
1- Derek/Claire
2- Aubrey/David
3- Luis/Michelle
4- Emily/Molly – who make the Amazing Editors work today, as they ride past El Cubo.
5- Marcus/Michael
Teams open their clues and we get the eighth Detour Clue.
DETOUR:
Fish Fry OR Sailboat Supply
*Fish Fry: Teams ride their bikes to Playa de El Palo and find a marked fire pit to roast 18 sardines and create espetos. Once approved by the chef, teams get a postcard with their next clue.
*Sailboat Supply: Teams ride their bikes to Playa de El Palo and blow up a standing paddleboard, collect a cooler of ice and eight life vests, and deliver them to a sailboat in the Mediterranean. Once everything is dropped off and the team returns to the ice vendor, teams get a postcard with their next clue.
1- Derek/Claire choose Fish Fry – (Toyouke: “Derek taking 5 seconds to Salt Bae is endearing.”)
2- Aubrey/David choose Fish Fry – (Toyouke: “I was giving Aubrey the benefit of the doubt with being squeamish around the fish, but then she immediately asked Claire (and not Derek) how she was holding up, and made it a "girls can't touch icky dead fish" thing.”)
3- Luis/Michelle choose Sailboat Supply
4- Emily/Molly choose Fish Fry
5- Marcus/Michael choose Fish Fry
Much fish frying and item delivering ensues. So, teams complete the detour in the following order:
1- Derek/Claire
2- Aubrey/David
3- Luis/Michelle
Well, we actually don’t know how the twins and the brothers do, as they are still working on frying their fish. But the other teams are now instructed to drive themselves to Ronda, Spain and find the landmark on their postcard, Puente Nuevo to get their next clue.
