Previously
on “90 Day Fiance”: Eric refused to stop paying child support,
and Leida just kept repeating that she's not happy. So Eric said
“This is over” and basically seemed fine with calling off the
wedding. But then suddenly she said she understood and wouldn't
protest the child support. We don't see any thought process or
explanation for her changing her mind. My suspicion that Leida never
changed her mind and just had her bluff called is supported by how
she went back to the apartment and kicked Tasha out, effective
immediately. Tasha wasn't going to go, but Eric appeared to back
Leida up in a phone call, so she felt disowned and left. Larissa went
dress shopping with Mom and Colt's cousin's wife Lea, and decided on
a sexy dress because that's what Colt would want, except that it's
double her budget so it's another thing she wants but is too
expensive. Then Colt thought a barbecue would help Larissa and John
stop hating each other, because he is an idiot. Of course they had a
fight, with John deciding that Larissa was a terrible person for not
wanting to live with Mom after they get married, and Larissa deciding
that Mom had poisoned everyone against her and was out to ruin her
life. Larissa uninvited John and family from her wedding, and then
when Colt told her she needed to calm down she threw the ring on the
floor and left the room. Fernanda basically shamed Jonathan into
being nice to his mother, and having a closer relationship with his
family. Because HER mother told her that how he treats his own
mother, is how he's going to treat Fernanda. Kalani and Asuelu
FINALLY had a conversation, except it was Kalani being mad that
Asuelu shuts down and doesn't talk to her, and also that he tries to
cuddle with her when she's mad. Asuelu explained that he's very
physical, and so when she won't hug him, he thinks she's stopped
loving him. Suddenly all of Kalani's doubts were gone, even though
she acted like a disappointed mom the whole time and they never
addressed the part where she said she didn't want to marry him
because he's too immature to be left alone with the baby. Steven's
stupid ass told Olga that his son's citizenship was the most
important thing to him, more important than Olga's visa and also
sightseeing when they go to Moscow to the embassy. They also meet
Olga's best friend who knows what's up, and Steven does not convince
anyone he's not an ass. Ashley and Jay canceled their wedding,
because of racist threats, and she told her two bridesmaids that they
were going to elope in Vegas instead. Then Natalie arrived at the
house, because Natalie didn't take the obvious gift of not having to
deal with these people's drama anymore. (click for more)
We
have a short recap of Jay and Ashley. They really don't show either
of them checking the cameras before just flinging the door open,
which is stupid considering they were so worried about safety. But
Natalie does start hollering, so I guess it's possible Ashley
recognized her voice and knew who it was. Natalie says she had to
beat on the door because “how else am I supposed to get hold of
you?” I feel like if Natalie was messaging and/or calling Ashley
she would have said so already, so either Natalie's been blocked, or
she's exaggerating. But honestly, Natalie, they stopped speaking to
you and you could have taken that gift of not having to deal with any
of these shenanigans ever again. Ashley is worried about her
neighbors, like, if someone is at my neighbor's house banging on the
door and yelling, I'm not automatically blaming my neighbor. After
some clarification, turns out Natalie has been trying to talk
to Ashley, and Ashley was just ignoring her. Natalie couldn't take
the hint, and has now arrived at Ashley's house to talk to her. She's
apparently been calling and texting Ashley nonstop. Well why haven't
we seen or heard about that? I would think maybe the producers would
have had Ashley mention that? Anyway, Natalie feels Ashley is
throwing away their friendship, which she is. But she's made it clear
so you gotta let her crash and burn without you. Ashley interviews
that it's not that she doesn't care if Jay cheated, but it is now
actually about how Natalie is too dramatic about everything. Also
Ashley has changed her tune from “I don't care what he's doing in
Jamaica, he's only 20, he's far away” to “there is no proof, Jay
said he didn't do it so he's innocent.” Natalie has now added “Jay
can't take care of you” to the “Jay is a cheater so don't marry
him” argument. Natalie is convinced Jay will cheat again, and
accuses Ashley of choosing a “20 year old child” over their
friendship. Quite frankly Ashley seems like exactly the type of
person to do this, even without all the cheating drama. Now Ashley is
like Natalie's sister. Ashley says you don't support my marriage or
my relationship, so this is what I'm doing. Well what about the end
of the day when you don't have anyone left? Ashley still has those
two girls who were gonna be in the wedding. Right? Plus, she's never
going to admit this is a bad idea until it blows up in her face.
Natalie
interviews that now they're eloping to Vegas, and doesn't that say
something, when you have to fly across the country and get married
alone, without anyone supporting you. OK that's too far. You could
MAYBE make the argument that if people loved Ashley more, they'd face
the threat of violence and not back out of the wedding. But also, I
certainly don't blame them and I certainly don't blame Ashley and Jay
for not wanting to risk it. They aren't eloping because everyone
hates the relationship. Jay pops his head out of the house, so
Natalie bitches that they should be able to have a conversation about
their friendship without Jay butting in. Girl. Ashley gave you the
gift of never having to deal with her poor romantic choices ever
again and you should have taken it. I was on your side but you're
rapidly falling by insisting on pretending to care about these
people. Ashley says that Jay is her husband, but they aren't married
yet. Natalie interviews that Ashley deserves better than Jay, because
he's just using her. “That's what they're told from the time that
they can walk and talk, 'get out of Jamaica'”. Jesus. OK you guys,
I was thinking this but I didn't say it because I thought it was just
my soap opera fandom talking. But that was a pretty ignorant
statement, and it makes me wonder if Natalie left all those
comments on the wedding page? In an attempt to break them up? Natalie
claims she can't live with herself, knowing this is happening. But it
doesn't affect you. When it fails, you're under no obligation to
comfort Ashley about it because she's ended your friendship. Jay
tries to say something, but Natalie says he's “literally” ruining
her relationship with Ashley and if he cared about her, he wouldn't
be doing it. I didn't really see Jay doing much of anything to cause
Ashley to stop talking to Natalie, except agree with Ashley when she
decided to do it. Right? Did I miss something? Jay says Natalie's
ruining the relationship, he doesn't have shit to do with it. Fair.
However, she could keep from banging on the door. Natalie bitches
that she has to, because Jay is “chirping in her ear” and I guess
keeping Ashley from talking to her. Jay, by far the smartest person
here, says “fuck this” and goes back in the house. Jay tells us
in confessional that it wasn't his idea to cut Natalie off, and he
doesn't particularly want to get between them, but Natalie keeps
giving Ashley plenty of reason to be cut out of her life. I know I
harped on Ashley for doing this before, but if this is what Natalie
has been spouting, then I see her point. Especially since she refuses
to take the hint that Ashley is not interested in talking to her. I
think it's stupid for Ashley to pick Jay over her friends, but she's
an adult and she's been perfectly clear that's what she wants. Ashley
says she's done, nothing will solve this, go home. Natalie wants
another conversation, but Ashley refuses to talk and goes back into
the house. Natalie continues to yell from outside and beg Ashley to
come outside so they can talk. Well, “talk”, meaning Natalie
yells about how Jay sucks. Yeah I don't think there's anything else
to be said. She stays out there so long Jay suggests maybe Ashley
should call the cops. Ashley says it's upsetting because they've been
friends for so long, but Natalie is being too difficult about this. I
mean, I have yet to see any remorse on Ashley's part for no longer
having her “best friend” around. But yeah. Jay says that Ashley
probably would have reacted differently if she had rung the doorbell
politely (unlikely) but this is too much. Natalie calls Ashley (we
see that in her phone Ashley is something like “My
Bessstttttfrrriiiiiiiieeeeeeennnnnnnnd” with six emojis) and
interviews that Ashley is running away from all her problems. I still
disagree about that, although I do think Ashley refuses to address
Jay's possible cheating. Plus you can't be so convinced he's innocent
that you end a long friendship, but then also not trust him enough to
be texting people or leaving the house without your permission.
Right? Natalie claims Ashley always runs away from things. How come
Ashley's failed relationships are sometimes described as “everyone
cheats on me” and sometimes described as “Ashley runs away from
commitment”? Natalie yells some more, the best part of which is how
she describes herself as “the bull waving the red flag”. Finally
Natalie rides off on her scooter.
32
days left for Colt and Larissa. Colt reminds us of how he's an idiot
and thought inviting everyone to his house would magically solve
their problems. Larissa was looking for a fight, sure, but John and
his decision that this whole thing is fake because Larissa doesn't
want to live with Mom forever is also him looking for a fight. I
honestly think that if Larissa wants to throw Colt's ring in his
face, then he should buy her a plane ticket and pack her bags. So
many tantrums on this show. Honestly call her bluff. Now Colt's heart
is broken, but he is also looking for one-way tickets to Brazil. He
can't live with someone unreasonable, and if she doesn't want to
marry him, then time to go. Yes, good. Good plan. Larissa interviews
that she was upset that Colt was blaming her for everything. She
hasn't talked to anyone, especially Mom, because she's still
convinced that Mom was shittalking her to John that Larissa was
spending all the money and trying to take Mom's place in the house. I
mean she is. That's not untrue. Now she's claiming she's sorry, and
still wants to marry Colt. “I hope if I am sweet, he can forgive
me.” Well my hope is that he makes you apologize to everyone, but
I'm not holding my breath on that.
Larissa
comes downstairs with the ring on, and Colt is mostly rude. Larissa
is smiling what I'm assuming is her “I'm a hot girl so do what I
want” smile. She's also making a big show about looking at her
ring. Colt says in confessional that he and Larissa are polar
opposites, but he first says that they're two different people,
which, duh. He doesn't know how to handle her mood swings. Fair. She
says she decided to put the ring back on, with her same smile. She
clearly thinks Colt will be so thankful she did that he'll fall all
over himself in relief. Colt just says “That's nice” and looks
back to the computer. Ha! Attaboy. Larissa interviews that she “feels
sorry for him” and wishes she could fix things because she feels
guilty. Uh huh. She asks what he's doing, and he says he's looking at
flights to Brazil. So she giggles and says “No.” Yeah,
it's going to take more than that. No response from Colt. She asks if
he's really looking or if he's being mean to her, so Colt gives her
the computer so she can see he's really looking at flights. Larissa
notes that these flights are soon, and he says that if she's not
happy, then why is she here? Larissa didn't think he'd be so mean.
“Try to buy me a ticket in silence.” This isn't mean, but I agree
because I didn't think Colt would have the backbone to stand up to
her. Colt says he's being hard with her because she said she didn't
want to marry him and then threw the ring at him. Larissa admits she
did a stupid thing because “the ring is amazing, cost a lot, and I
could injure it.” Sigh. How exactly is this supposed to be getting
him to forgive you? Colt points out, OR you could BREAK MY HEART, and
she laughs again and agrees.
Colt
just stares at her, until she says it's not that she's unhappy, she's
happy with him, she just doesn't like some behaviors he has. Yeah,
it's not going that well. Colt demands examples, so she says he
should have protected her when John was yelling at her. Specifically
when John was “crazy and insane”. Colt fires back that she's
definitely crazy, and Larissa says “Okay, so I am the criminal and
John is the victim.” Colt says John isn't the problem, Larissa
acted ridiculous. But of course Larissa feels that John was the mean
one and Colt should have taken her side. I know John went into this
party intending to have a fight, and he certainly refused to listen
to anything anyone had to say. I'm not saying Larissa wasn't also
doing the exact same thing, but I think Colt needs to acknowledge
that John isn't a saint either. Larissa knew John didn't like her,
and Colt says “Look, they're my family, OK?” First of all, that
doesn't mean John doesn't like her, and second, whenever anyone
mentions your mom moving out you yell about how she's your only
family, so don't go claiming John as your family now because it's
convenient. Larissa says she's not causing fights, she thought his
mother said stuff about her and Colt just blames her all the time.
Anyone would be crazy. Larissa is convinced that Mom is saying bad
things about her, but Colt is actively refusing to take a side. Colt
thinks Larissa should have a calm conversation about her problems
with people. But he points out she said she didn't want to marry him,
and then refused to talk to him. She's being a child. He really says
that. Larissa actually says “I'm sorry”, I guess because she
finally figured out he was serious and also that he had the power to
send her back to Brazil. She thought that it was “so far”? I'm
not sure what that means; does she mean she's decided it's gone on
too far? Anyway, “I would like to say I'm sorry.” She's still got
that stupid smirk, so I don't know if she's the kind of person who
smiles when nervous, or if she thinks she's won because he won't kick
her out. Colt says he loves her, and Larissa says that she wants to
marry him. Would have been more convincing if she hadn't heaved a
huge sigh right before that sentence, but he buys it. Although he
does say if she does it again it's over.
Time
for Steven's stupid ass. They're taking the passport photo for the
baby. Olga thinks if they grant Richie citizenship it will help her
visa. She also knows Richie will have more opportunities in America,
and she's happy to move there with her family. Aww. However, she is
nervous because she and Steven are always fighting, and she thinks
that's why Steven is not doing anything for her visa. He's only
focusing on his son's passport. He hasn't said so outright, but I
wouldn't put it past him. Back in the hotel they go over paperwork.
This is hindered by the fact that Steven can't figure out that “SSN”
is “Social Security Number”. Not even with the hint that N is
Number. Olga asks why they need the baby at the embassy tomorrow. Why
can't he just take the papers? Good question. Steven says probably so
they can see he's not trying to fake a passport. He claims to have no
idea, but the citizenship is number one. Olga reminds him that if he
takes the baby to America, she can't come because she doesn't have a
visa yet. Steven says “Yeah, I know” in a slightly annoyed tone,
like he's irritated she reminded him. “Since you're not a US
citizen or have a green card, you wouldn't really have a say in it.”
She really needs to leave in the middle of the night and disappear
for two weeks until he leaves. How's he going to do anything without
speaking Russian? Also, how does he justify his picking a fight two
episodes ago about how their relationship was supposed to be the
priority? And now you won't even pretend you aren't planning to take
Olga's son and ditch her here? Olga says “What?” which makes
Steven laugh nervously, a little, and Olga points out she's Richie's
mother. So how does she not have any say? Steven shrugs that it
doesn't matter. I bet the production crew would help her leave.
Richie is not going to live in Russia his whole life. Yes, but that's
why you're supposed to be helping with her visa. Olga says Steven can
live in Russia, which he has no response to. Steven goes back to
paperwork and declarations of making sure he has everything because
it will really piss him off if he doesn't. Olga says in confessional
that it's really scary that Steven wants to take her baby from her.
In the dual interview, Steven is still talking about how the only
thing that matters is the citizenship, because if Olga's visa is
denied he can still take the baby to America because that's where
he's going to grow up. You asshole. I really hope he gets some karma
about this. Because being an American gives you more opportunities.
Steven orders Olga to go shower so they can go to bed. Olga
interviews (while away from Steven in the bathroom) that she's
worried she's taken care of her son for all this time, and being
pregnant, and now Steven could take him to America.
30
days left for Kalani and Asuelu. There's actually a chyron that says
“Three days ago, Kalani and Asuelu got some shocking news.”
Kalani has managed to get pregnant again. Sigh. What happened to all
your lecturing about how smart people use condoms and another baby
would be a terrible idea? Kalani tells us this by heaving several
giant sighs. Then she claims that because she's breastfeeding, they
have limited options for birth control. While some types of hormonal
birth control will cause your milk to dry up (like regular birth
control pills), there are still a bunch of options. Including
condoms. And if you are exclusively breastfeeding, that will keep you
from getting pregnant, but only for six months or so. So yes it is
harder, but far from impossible to use birth control while
breastfeeding. Unless you're trying to tell me that Asuelu refused to
use condoms, and you felt pressured to have sex with him, and that's
why you're pregnant now. Oh, wait, that's exactly what she's saying.
Asuelu refuses to use condoms, and I guess Kalani was unwilling (or
unable, I don't know her insurance) to get an implant or birth
control pills with the right hormones. Kalani thinks she should be
excited, but this is terrible timing. Also all of a sudden she's
actually admitting faults, saying she's not as good of a mom as she
could be and now they're going to have another baby “to take myself
away from my son even more”. You don't have a job, and you don't
trust Asuelu with the baby, so what is taking you away from your son
now? She's spreading herself too thin. With what!?! What do you do
all day?! She's five weeks pregnant. She wanted to wait but now she's
overwhelmed or whatever. Listen. I am trying very hard not to victim
blame here. Asuelu should have sucked it up and used condoms. But
knowing how Kalani treats him the rest of the time, I am having a
hard time believing she felt so pressured to have unsafe sex that she
just did it. If we're now having actual adult conversations about our
problems, they could have talked it out where she explained they
can't get pregnant right now, and even if he's saying they need to be
physical or he feels unloved, you can do plenty of things without the
risk of pregnancy. I guess I'm irritated at the immediate shift from
“Asuelu is a child, I know what's best and I am the only one who
knows anything here” to “Woe is me, this is terrible timing, life
is so hard” as if she had absolutely no control over anything. Also
she says she's sick of disappointing her family. Yeah, OK.
The
next day they go to meet Kalani's mom at a park somewhere. Kalani
thinks she'll be the easiest to talk to. Asuelu interviews that
Kalani is mad because he's happy she's pregnant. I'm sure that's part
of it, but I think she's mad about other things too. Asuelu says he
comes from a big family, and he is glad his son will have siblings.
But Kalani doesn't feel the same. I think Kalani feels having
children that will be like, 15 months apart is the problem. I don't
think she's opposed to having more than one child in general. Anyway,
Asuelu feels weird, because Kalani's mom might not be happy about it.
And since she asked how they were, and Kalani is just sitting there,
Asuelu spills the beans. Mom is obviously not super thrilled. She
asks if they planned it, but Kalani is just sitting there crying so I
think that answers that question. Kalani thinks everyone will be mad
at her. Mom doesn't know what to say. Kalani asks Asuelu to take the
baby home because he needs to sleep and her mom needs to talk to her.
I'm sorry, but we never established that Kalani got over her control
issues around Asuelu being alone with the baby. Are we supposed to
just forget that she said she didn't want to marry him because he was
so unsafe she didn't trust him with the baby? Because you harped on
it for FOREVER and now we're pretending it didn't happen. This is
some bullshit editing. I would have loved to see her get over her
paranoia and control issues.
Kalani's
mom is shocked. Kalani says this was the stupidest time to do this,
and it's one more thing to stress about. Mom asks if Asuelu
understood that she didn't want to have a baby right now. I'd say
probably not, because Kalani can't talk to him about anything like a
normal adult. Kalani says he gets it now, because the day after she
found out she cried all day. OK but the time for you to make it clear
to him is BEFORE you get pregnant. Asuelu told her he felt sad
because he didn't realize how sad she was. Normally I'd say he was a
clueless man, but as we have seen, I am pretty confident Kalani
wasn't clear about how she really didn't want to get pregnant right
now. Mom claims confusion about how Asuelu could want this. I know
why, because he wants a big family because that's how Samoa is, and
Kalani refuses to sit down with him and actually talk, as equals,
about these important issues. At least Mom knows that there's a
cultural aspect to things. Kalani says part of her is mad at Asuelu
because he doesn't understand things, like how you can't have a huge
family easily. Because you have to tell him these things. Am I being
unreasonable about this? Should Asuelu have figured out more than he
has about how America really is? Mom asks if Asuelu got Kalani
pregnant just to stay here. Kalani hopes not. Well she says that to
her mom, but in interview she says that she thinks he might have. I
mean...I really do not want to eliminate the possibility that Kalani
felt pressured to have unprotected sex, and shouldn't take half the
blame here. And she isn't claiming that, but she's also acting like
this was an act of God that she took absolutely no part in at all. So
of course now she's back to not wanting to marry him.
37
days left for Leida and Eric. Leida says she doesn't like Tasha's
attitude, or her mess (which was confined to her room), and she needs
a room for her son, so she kicked Tasha out. Leida claims to feel
bad, which we know is probably not true. She understands that Eric
loves his daughter, but she feels better without Tasha there. Eric is
coming home early, and she wants to talk to him because she's been
“accepting things” and she's done because she deserves to be the
priority. I thought she backed off on this when she suddenly decided
to be OK with the child support. Eric is annoyed because of course he
came out of a meeting at work to his phone blowing up. He tells us
that Tasha put him in a position where he had to choose between her
or Leida. No, Leida put you in that position.
Leida
just starts off by saying this is “unacceptable” and she's
“done”. OK bye. Eric asks what happened, with the long-suffering
face of someone who knows this is some stupid drama, and he is not
moved. Leida admits she's not supposed to be in Tasha's room, but she
claims she just “pushed the door” and there was a giant mess and
she was in shock because Tasha is an adult. Then she goes for
sympathy, saying Tasha is gone and she doesn't want to be in the
wedding and she said Leida is the mistake and blah blah. Leida
doesn't want to see her anymore. Eric doesn't want to have to choose
between them, because it hurts, but Leida just shrugs that Tasha is
the problem, not her. Leida says in confessional that she's homesick
because it's different here and it's tough for her and Alless to
adjust. OK so go home. Tasha should have moved out earlier, but get
out of here with your “I just touched the door and it opened”
garbage. She tells Eric she gave up everything in Indonesia, like her
medical career that she's complained about and which she flat out
told Eric was her whole point for being here. Like, she said she came
to America to go to med school and be a doctor in America. So don't
go whining that you gave up a career when the whole point of you
coming here is your career. She says she gave up everything to be
with Eric, and he's not making her the priority so what's the point?
He already threatened to send you back, so did you forget? Eric is
pissed Leida is making him choose between his current family and his
new family, but Tasha is not going to leave the country if he doesn't
pick her. So who the fuck cares if Leida leaves the country? I have
yet to see any redeeming qualities to show why you want her to stay.
Eric thinks he can resolve this with Tasha, but Leida will leave him
so he has to focus on her. He says there's no choice, and if Leida
had left, he'd never forgive Tasha. Great. OK then give up the child
support too, if Leida is so important, because you've clearly made
that choice that you whined was so hurtful. Leida gets everything she
wants by threatening to leave. Leida just says thank you, without any
emotion or happiness that she got her way. Eric claims to be torn,
but I think he's made his choice clear. He says that Leida is the
priority. I was so hopeful he'd stand up to her but ugh.
22
days left for Jonathan and Fernanda. They just got back from Chicago,
and Jonathan is talking about how Fernanda has opened his eyes about
taking his family for granted. I don't like the idea of “family
over all” because sometimes your family sucks. I know it comes from
a good place and Jonathan is an adult, so I guess whatever. At least
he can try and see what happens.
Jonathan
goes to meet his friend Stephen for drinks. I think Stephen is the
guy whose house they went to way back at the beginning of the season.
P.S., I guessed it was “Stephen” and not “Steven” and I was
right. Anyway, Stephen has not spent that much time with Jonathan
recently, since Fernanda arrived. Now it is revealed that Stephen has
“concerns”. Jonathan says his mom likes Fernanda, but there are
issues because of the resentment of finding out about the engagement
on Facebook. Jonathan tells the explanation of how his mom would have
had complaints, because she still treats him like a child. Stephen
asks if Fernanda is old enough to make that decision, and can we stop
with the age thing? How many people in America get married at 18? How
many people get pregnant at an even younger age? Are they all old
enough to make those decisions? Out of all the people on this stupid
show, this is the healthiest couple, and that's taking into account
the bar fight. As they talk, Fernanda actually texts Jonathan.
Stephen asks if Jonathan has doubts about her maturity, and you can
tell by how he's leaning forward and smirking slightly that he really
thinks he's the smart one here. Jonathan talks about the bar fight,
which means Stephen brings up her age again. Then he asks what
Fernanda is doing all day when he's at work, and I think he thinks he
can get Jonathan to doubt that Fernanda is faithful to him. But I
don't think he will. Jonathan says she can't work, so yeah, sometimes
she feels like she's in jail. Does Jonathan think she's going to
resent him, because she can't earn her own money and she can't drive
and go where she wants? As Stephen is asking this, Jonathan is
checking his phone again. Jonathan thinks of course. But it's a work
in progress. Jonathan then says he has to leave. He says in
confessional that it's embarrassing, because he's only been there for
45 minutes. Yeah, he should be able to say he's out and will be back
soon. But he also seems to understand why Fernanda is upset.
18
days left for Colt and Larissa. Larissa says she understands why Colt
is upset with her, and she promises not to lose her temper anymore.
Uh huh. She says she will keep her promise because she loves him and
wants to marry him here. She's taking a long time to get ready
because they're having a double date with two of Colt's friends. Oh,
so Colt does have friends. Larissa says they're smart and nice, not
like John. Angela says that they've seen Colt in several different
relationships, but this one is different. They hope everything works
out. As they drive to dinner, Colt refuses to say where they're
going. It's a surprise! Sigh. He can't handle Larissa's ups and
downs, and he wants her to be reasonable. OK but it's not that easy?
As they drive, Larissa rolls her eyes and fans herself and sulks
because she spent two hours doing her makeup and Colt didn't
compliment her. Her future husband should compliment her every time
she looks nice. Yeah but he was doing that and she was a bitch about
it, so apparently he stopped. You don't compliment Colt. Larissa asks
the other guy, Andrew, if American men don't give compliments to
women. He says nice things. Colt asks what she's trying to tell him,
and Larissa says “Don't talk to me.” How's he going to say nice
things to you if he can't talk to you? Colt tries to protest that
he's said she's beautiful many times, because he's an idiot that
doesn't understand that doesn't count. Come on, dude, I'm trying to
be on your side. Larissa then says he wants sex 24/7 and he doesn't
give her any compliments. How will he turn her on if he doesn't give
her compliments? What in the fuck. When Colt insists he loves her,
she says stop it. You can't be passive aggressive about how you want
compliments, and then when you get them, be mad about it.
They
finally pull into the parking lot, and Larissa is still saying Colt
doesn't compliment her so he's not a “real man”. Colt's friends
are very uncomfortable with Larissa, because she's basically picking
a fight and putting their sex life out there. Colt asks, outside the
restaurant, if they can have a good dinner without fighting. OK that
was really condescending. Larissa is upset because she spent two
hours getting ready, and she knew Colt wouldn't say anything because
he never does. We all know that's not true and there's tape to prove
it. Colt gets sarcastic about using the list of “approved”
compliments, and Larissa claims he needs to give her “true
compliments” and he never does. They fight over if this is true or
not, and Colt says she needs to see it from his side, that he works
all day. She says she doesn't care, and she spent two hours to get
ready. Colt says that's the problem, she doesn't care. He has to deal
with his family, and the wedding, plus keep Larissa happy, so when
does Colt get angry or upset? OK you don't get angry or upset because
you think emotions are a sign of weakness and that your refusal to
show emotions makes you better than everyone else. It's always about
Larissa, and he doesn't understand this argument, because he's an
idiot. She's angry because you didn't fall at her feet and pay enough
attention to her. Larissa says she's tired of his blah blah blah, and
Colt says he's tired of HER blah blah blah. She should be more
patient. This is what he was talking about. Larissa decides that he's
not complimenting her because he's too busy complimenting other
women. Colt says she's thought too much about this, and when Larissa
keeps arguing, Colt asks her if she's ever thought that maybe the
problem is her? And she's batshit crazy? So what, Colt grew a spine
in front of his friends? I guess so.
After
commercials, Colt claims he can feel “the death in the air, the
darkness”. Calm down. Larissa tells Colt's friends that she knows
Colt won't give her any compliments, so should she argue or pretend
nothing is happening? She is sure every other man will love to be by
her side. Colt tells her that even if he did everything Larissa
wanted, he'd still lose somehow. Colt interviews that he's
embarrassed (sure) because Larissa has no right to start a fight with
him in front of his friends, in public (no). In this situation, no,
she picked a fight and I get that he's embarrassed. But I don't agree
that he shouldn't ever be called out in public when he's being an
idiot. He wants to start over, and he says he's “sorry [he's] not
communicating in a way you find acceptable”. I wonder if her
English is good enough for her to understand he's actually insulting
her right now. He say she's beautiful (she makes a face, like, if
it's so vital to you to get compliments then shut the fuck up when
you get one), and he's sorry if his compliments aren't ones she
enjoys. Colt continues to kiss her ass, which is stupid, but he did
just give her the ol' “I'm sorry if you're offended” non-apology.
So Larissa's response is to turn away from him and say “No Colt,
not the time, okay, let me eat first.” He asked if he could be by
your side, not if you could go have sex right now. Get it together.
Finally she thanks him. Larissa interviews that she knows she has a
temper, but Colt needs to understand she needs to hear nice things
about herself. But only “real” compliments. I know when she first
arrived when Colt would say she looked beautiful she didn't react so
I would also stop complimenting her constantly. I wish he had said “I
told you not to do it again” and left her. Larissa graciously
agrees to stop. Angela thinks Colt was caught off-guard by Larissa,
but I don't think he was. I think he knew what was going on the
minute she asked Andrew about giving compliments to women.
As
they walk to the table, Larissa orders Colt to follow her, because of
course she does. Colt interviews they decided not to have the
reception at the restaurant, so I guess this is the place where Colt
flirted with the hostess before? Oh, it is, because of course it's
the same hostess. Someone did that on purpose. Larissa knows where
they are, and she says she's glad they're not having the reception
there. Also she wants to see how Colt acts. I'd say if this was a
normal, non-TV situation this woman might not remember them at all.
But with the cameras around I'm sure she does. Colt at least has the
smarts to ignore the waitress, so Larissa tells him he did a great
job. Sigh. Then she tells his friends that Colt flirted with the
waitress last time, and Colt jokes that he didn't even notice that
someone escorted them out. Sigh. He says he doesn't want to fear
Larissa, or what she's going to do. It's already at that point
though. Larissa asks his friends if they think she's crazy, or if she
can't express herself. Amanda says she's “fiery”, and Andrew
(under duress) says she's at least a little bit crazy. She's maybe
insecure. Larissa agrees, and she says she agrees with him but please
give Colt some advice. Marriage is hard work and they should
eventually learn about each other. Be patient and don't expect
immediate gratification. I think that was aimed at Larissa and not
Colt. Colt kisses Larissa's ass some more and says he should give her
more compliments, because she does so much work. She should trust him
more. Larissa says Colt is a great guy, and she loves him and she
thinks he loves her. But it's delivered with a monotone and a facial
expression that implies she is one second away from rolling her eyes.
Colt admits she's crazy but he loves her. Larissa tries to claim she
has a good heart, which, I have yet to see it. I know, I know, Colt's
mom has said Larissa has some nice qualities. Still. Colt claims that
Larissa will always be a little crazy but that's why he loves her.
Maybe that's because this is the dual interview and she's sitting
right there. Larissa declares that the woman should be the man's best
friend, and Colt immediately says he would love that. Larissa finally
gives Colt some compliments, and I want to say that these are the
first compliments she's given him ever on this show? Please tell me
if I'm wrong. She says Colt wants her to say that he has a big dick.
Uh huh.
18
days left for Eric and Leida. Eric claims that if he hadn't kicked
Tasha out, Leida would have left, and he can't have that because
she's definitely the one he wants to spend his life with. I haven't
seen any of her redeeming qualities but fine. The wedding plans are
all getting done, and Eric's getting his hair cut. His dad has come
along, and we're told his dad has been supporting him this whole
time. Dad asks about Tasha and Leida, and Eric says he has to put
Leida first, he has to take her side, because otherwise Leida will
leave. Eric says his dad's upset Tasha won't be at the wedding. He
knew it wouldn't go perfectly smoothly, but he wishes it had gone
smoother. See, that seems pretty level-headed. Tasha is an adult and
in Eric's eyes this is “natural consequences”. Dad agrees but
says you also can't really kick your daughter to the curb. “As it
were.” Eric says it's tough love. Dad knows Eric is being forced to
choose, but he wouldn't kick a child out of the house for being a
slob. He doesn't know if Leida's pressure is fair. Is Eric putting
Leida ahead of his family? Yes. Eric says sort of, but this needs to
happen and “it's what she needs.” Not sure if the “she” is
Leida or Tasha. Dad just responds that he should stand behind his
children, and it's not easy to let your children make decisions and
not say anything. Eric is adamant that this is the reality check
Tasha needs. I mean...yes and no. Tasha was certainly dragging her
feet about moving out, when she was asked several months ago. But
Eric could have also moved out, and they could have also talked about
it without Tasha being told to get out this instant and then feeling
disowned. Dad hopes they eventually accept each other, but I doubt
it. Eric says being a father is the most important thing in the
world, so kicking Tasha out is the most horrible decision, but you
have to make tough choices and sometimes that doesn't sit well.
Sometimes not everyone wants it. I was going to contradict him but
he's getting choked up about it and crying, so I think he really
feels bad. I mean, he still sided with Leida, but when he says it was
tough I believe him.
Time
for Jay and Ashley's wedding. They're in Vegas and it's the wedding
day. Ashley knows this is different from her previous two
engagements. It's disappointing they won't have a big wedding with
everyone, but it fell through and now they've planned this. Jay jokes
that he's going to be tied down forever. He tells Ashley that back in
Jamaica he never dreamed of getting married. Ashley responds that's
because he was a whore. Sigh. Luckily Jay laughs. They head for the
pool so Ashley can have a drink.
Jay
says the last 90 days have been a pain in the ass, and it's nice to
have some time to get rid of stress and get away from the stress at
home. Even though he's not old enough to gamble, Vegas has the same
vibe as Jamaica. He tells Ashley they should just stay here. Then he
brings up how “the elderly” always say everyone stops having sex
once they're married. Ashley says they have plenty of sex, and then
when Jay doesn't agree she gets alarmed and asks how much he wants to
have sex, because three times a day is already way more than anyone
else. Jay says he's black and has to keep his “blood pumping”
because otherwise he will get “clogged up”. Ashley interviews
that she's talked to her friends, and she has a higher sex drive than
they do, but also it's not as high as Jay's. Then Jay says that's why
people cheat, because...he doesn't finish, but I guess because their
spouse won't have sex as much as they want. Ashley tells him to go
ahead and cheat because he won't have a penis to cheat with.
Charming. Ashley tells us that sex is important, but it's not healthy
to have sex three times a day. I mean, to each his own. But if you
don't want to have sex that much, then you two need to sit down and
have an adult conversation about it. Now she's sniping that she does
not want some young, horny teenager, as if she is only now realizing
she's fallen in love with a young, horny teenager. It's not like you
only just discovered his sex drive yesterday.
Steven's
stupid ass again. He interviews that he's “thinking about”
bringing his son home with him and leaving Olga in Russia. He claims
this is a big decision and he wants to do the best thing, but he's
made it clear several times that he's already made this decision, so
I'm not sure why he thinks we're all going to think he hasn't yet or
that “we need to talk about it” like he gives a shit about Olga's
opinion. Olga tells Steven she's very nervous that Richie will get
his American passport and Steven will take him. Steven's
counterargument is “it's not like he's leaving with a stranger.”
Ass. Olga knows that Steven cares more about his son than her. Also
she says it's hard because she's not allowed in the embassy because
she's not a citizen.
OK.
I'm putting another paragraph because as I was looking around on
Reddit I found a thread about his episode. The consensus is, what
Olga is saying is correct. She can't go to the embassy because she's
not an American citizen. HOWEVER! If she had an appointment, then
that's fine. I mean that's where the visa interviews are, so it's not
like non-citizens are never allowed in. So when Steven made this
appointment, he should have been able to bring her along by giving
her name. As Richie's mother, she could have gone. But for some
reason Steven didn't put her name on the appointment. He has claimed
that TLC told him she couldn't come at all, ever, but TLC has said
that she could have come, but he didn't list her on the appointment,
so all the paperwork was signed and notarized ahead of time. It's
possible that the producers thought it would be much better TV for
Steven to go in alone, with the baby, so Olga could freak out that
he'd never come back. But it's also possible Steven fucked up because
he's an idiot. OR he didn't want Olga there so he could tell her
anything he wanted. Regardless, at this moment, she can't come
because she's not on the appointment. It's unclear whose fault that
is, but we can't totally eliminate the scenario that Steven doesn't
want her there so he did it on purpose.
Anyway,
Steven is also too stupid to reassure Olga he's not going to leave
her, because that would be a total lie. Olga says it would be the end
of her world if Steven takes the baby. And now she's got to wait in
this park by herself. Three hours later, Steven finally reappears
with Richie crying. Olga bursts into tears, as Steven promises he's
OK and orders Olga to feed him. I guess they couldn't film in the
embassy. So he's got his passport. Steven pretends to be upset about
this, which is dumb because we all know he's not upset. Anyway, he
tells Olga that Richie has his passport, so Steven feels he should
keep him for now. For some reason he prefaces this with “he's OK to
stay here” which is stupid. You clearly don't think so, or you
wouldn't be having this conversation. At least Olga is forcing him to
clearly state he wants to take the baby. Steven promises he'd take
care of the baby, which is dumb. Olga wants them to go together.
Steven says he didn't have a dad growing up and that's why he wants
to be in Richie's life so much. Yeah, great, but that doesn't mean
“being in his life is more important than him being with his
mother.” He's talking as if Olga isn't saying she's coming to the
US when she can. I guess it's possible he's figured out she's not
thrilled with him and could just stay in Russia where she doesn't
have to deal with his stupid ass. Steven claims he's going to do
everything he can to be a part of his son's life. But not live in
Russia because the baby's mother is stuck there, that's dumb I guess.
Steven claims to understand it's not smart to take Richie from Olga,
and also to not know what to do. We all know what you think you
should do. He attempts to comfort Olga by saying it'll be OK, because
he's an idiot. She turns away from him. Olga tells Steven in the dual
interview that it will be hard for the baby to go to America without
her, and Steven immediately says “what about me?” because this is
still all about him. Olga has to reassure him that yes, it's hard for
Steven, but she spends more time with the baby than he does. I guess
this is a factor in why Steven should take the baby? I think he's
really trying to argue he should take Richie to the US because Olga
has spent more time with him. I don't know, honestly. Steven just
always demands that everyone cut him slack and understand how hard
his life is, but he absolutely refuses to extend the same empathy to
anyone else. See, now because Olga doesn't want to lose her son, it's
because she WANTS him to miss out on his son's life. I think when he
grows up he'll understand about visas. Also he'll understand about
his dad being an asshole. Olga gets up from the interview and leaves
the room, while Steven just sits there and can't even pretend to be
sorry.
Kalani
and Asuelu go to get ice cream. Kalani is “confused” because
Asuelu is happy she's pregnant. And of course, now the last thing she
wants is to get married. Seriously everything makes her doubt she
wants to get married. I wish she'd make up her mind. Asuelu wishes
Kalani was happy about being pregnant the way he is. He wants to
marry her, but he knows that Kalani has doubts. So now, with 22 days
to go, they're going to talk about “everything that's been going
on”. We'll see. Asuelu doesn't know how they're going to fix this.
Kalani thinks they had a conversation about waiting to have a baby,
and being careful. I'm not sure if she's talking about their
conversation where she said smart people use condoms, or if they had
some other conversation. She seems very reluctant to have serious
conversations, though, and it's possible Asuelu didn't realize how
opposed she was. Asuelu just wanted to make a baby. Yeah that's a
problem. They both need to agree on things. Asuelu says it makes
sense, and then asks if she still wants to marry him. Kalani claims
she had all her doubts, and then “you got me pregnant”. Not
exactly how that works, unless you had no say in the matter. Asuelu
responds that he didn't come here to just get her pregnant and then
leave. They can work together as a team. She wasn't ever sure and now
they have a lot of new problems. But Kalani now says that everyone
has problems and she's willing to work through them and get married.
OK then don't have an interview where you say you don't want to get
married, JFC. Make up your damn mind and then tell Asuelu so he can
stop wasting his time. Asuelu thinks now no more problems will come
to her family, he can't wait to get married and live happily ever
after with their family. Kalani interviews that now that Asuelu has
had time to process her feelings and her thoughts, he understands
her. Now she believes he came here to take care of their son and her
also. Then she literally says she's getting married fast and she
needs to focus on that. Producers. Make up your fucking minds. Do you
think we're all so stupid we've forgotten the interview you played
literally three minutes ago? Asuelu is romantic, and now magically
Kalani loves him and he's the person she thought and she wants to
marry him. But she doesn't want to upset her family so she's not
telling them she's pregnant. Well, she told her mom. And she promised
to be more open with Kolini but now she's lying to her again. Kalani
conveniently does not mention that she could choose not to lie to her
sister, but she doesn't want to. Is she going to claim they got
pregnant on the honeymoon and hope no one counts backwards? Because I
had a friend who out of nowhere moved her wedding up like two months,
and then said she got pregnant on the honeymoon and her full size
baby was like a month premature. I honestly don't care if you have a
baby out of wedlock, or if you had premarital sex, but don't insult
my intelligence by telling me I can't count.
Tania,
Eric's ex, wants to talk to Leida. Leida says she's done a lot for
the wedding, but I'm not sure what that is, since Eric had presented
all the planning as a done deal. Maybe she's bossing the florist
around. Leida knows this is going to be about Tasha. Tania knows that
in a way, no one cares about her opinion because she's the ex. But
she also knows that if she started dating someone, she'd never
tolerate them acting like this towards her kids. She doesn't want to
cause more fighting, so I guess she thinks she can reason with Leida.
It's a lot of superficial drama, but maybe Leida doesn't agree.
Tania
says she's upset, as a mom, about what she's heard about the
fighting. When the kids get upset, she gets upset. Leida interrupts
her to say it's just the one kid. They have three kids? Also not sure
why Leida looks so smug right now. Tasha made a mess, she wasn't
paying rent, and now Leida thinks she was trying to cause fights
between Leida and Eric to separate them. “Everyone” knows Leida
was right. She also lets Tania know about how Tasha said Eric
deserved better, and so forth. Tania interviews that all families
fight, but Leida needs to learn not to fly off the handle. Actually
she just says “she” so it might be about Tasha, who could also
learn that lesson, honestly. Leida is an outsider, and pushing people
away. It's more than just a fight between the two of them, because
literally everyone is upset about it. Leida is pushing the family
away. Ehh...I guess? In that she doesn't want to have anything to do
with Eric's kids and she thinks he shouldn't either? Tania doesn't
want that, and she doesn't think Leida wants it either. Leida agrees
and actually apologizes, but then she gets in a huff again about how
she's come such a long way and had to accept things, and she's done
“accepting things” because she has to accept everything. Tania
thinks it can be worked on, and Leida says not right now. The kids
don't want to come to the wedding. Tania clearly thinks this will
affect Leida, but her response in interview is basically “fuck
'em”. If they don't want to come, then don't come, because she has
her pride and she's not going to beg them to come. The most important
thing is Eric and Alless. Who cares about the other people. Everyone
is upset, but Leida is just “whatever” about it. Tania abruptly
says she needs to go to work and leaves. She reveals at least one of
the kids hopes they break up before the wedding.
Fernanda
tells us that last night when Jonathan was out with Stephen, he left
her at home alone, and didn't respond to her calls and texts. So
she's mad at him for that. She just went to bed mad, I guess,
thinking she'd feel better in the morning. But we already know from
the bar fight that she is still going to be mad in the morning.
Fernanda tells us Jonathan doesn't understand that she's alone and
she needs him here.
Jonathan
comes home, and she's still sulking in the bedroom. He knows she's
mad he was home late. So I thought this was because he went out, but
I think it's because he told her when he'd be home and he was 45
minutes late. He also knows she's upset because she was home alone.
Fernanda yells that it was over an hour. He said he'd finish his
drink and come home, but she says why? She needs him, she needs
someone. He points out that she spent six hours on the phone with her
friends, but it's not the same. But what's he supposed to do while
you're on the phone that long? I mean, yeah, be on the phone with
friends and family. But he's got friends too. Jonathan's only had a
drink with friends twice, but Fernanda insists she's gone out zero
times. But she will, eventually. He's too selfish because he has a
job and a routine and she has nothing. She says she was calling him,
because “I'm bad and I need you, I tell you.” Jonathan tries to
argue that she called him five times in ten minutes, and he can't
just drop everything and immediately be home. I feel a little more
sympathy for her, but also a little uncomfortable that she's kind of
manipulating him here. “I'm having a bad night and you need to come
home immediately” makes me wince a little bit, but only because so
often one half of the couple resents it. He needs to be here with her
because he can't leave her alone. Jonathan interviews that he's
busting his ass and he feels like nothing is good enough. He's upset
that she is blaming him for all of this. He tells her he goes out one
time, for 45 minutes, and she freaked out and everything shuts down.
He works 14 hours a day, and he left for 45 minutes. Fernanda says
those 14 hours, she's home waiting for him. Then she says she can't
do this, and leaves the room. Jonathan wonders in confessional if
Fernanda is ready to get married, because she doesn't seem to
understand what sacrifices Jonathan is making.
Jonathan
goes to the other room to find her packing a bag and sobbing. So he
begs her to stop, and she says that she doesn't want to ask him for
anything. It's not like he was out until the middle of the night. She
says “I don't want”, and then she says she doesn't want anything,
she wants to go home to her family and friends. She can't, and she's
sorry. Jonathan says the sacrifices he makes don't matter, so
Fernanda says “Oh so you think I'm mad”. She says she always
thanks him but she asked him for one little thing. Jonathan starts
throwing all the things he's bought her in her face, so Fernanda goes
back to mad and says thank you a bunch of times, and then just asks
him to go away. Jonathan knows if he leaves, then he doesn't care,
but if he stays, she doesn't want him in her face. What does she
want? He thinks he's given her everything she's wanted, and he should
be able to go have a drink. It's crazy for her to want to end their
90 days early. He asks her where he should go, which is dumb because
she clearly is not interested in that. Fernanda wants to know what he
wants from her? To just clean the house and wait for him to get home?
Jonathan starts listing the things she's asked for, like a new car
and pay for college and whatever. She apologizes that she doesn't
have money to give him stuff too, so he of course says it's not about
the money. Then when you list all the stuff you've done for her don't
just list all the money you've spent, idiot. She gives him time and
she's left her family. So she's waited two months. When they were
apart, she went out with her friends every weekend and never called
him. So what? So clearly that's what her life was like and sitting
here alone isn't cutting it. He says he never got upset with her when
she did that. But you weren't there, either. She says she's so bad
and she's sorry. Are you trying to get her to stay or what? I don't
get the sense he's calling her bluff, but he's actually decided to
fight this way. Fernanda says no money compares to the sacrifice
she's made for him. Fernanda calls her parents, while Jonathan pours
himself a drink. Fernanda says she doesn't feel she belongs, and he
pushes her. But she doesn't know what to do.
Next
time: Olga's friend doesn't think that Steven even applied for the
visa in the first place, and also he has a secret (spoiler: it's that
he's been fucking around with her visa), Colt's mom doesn't really
want to forgive Larissa, Tasha blames Eric for kicking her out,
Fernanda writes Jonathan a letter, Kalani does tell her sister she's
pregnant (I assume), Jay does something that Ashley probably should
have seen coming.
It's
time for another live episode. So let's see who we're talking about
this time. Last time they spent like 15 minutes talking about some
people not on this season. Ashley's friends are here, and Brandi is
wearing a blue top with a huge keyhole, more than enough to showcase
her sequined bra. The host even says “look at that cleavage”
which is hilarious. Also the woman on the couch has a very low cut
top with her bra showing. It's clearly just too low, and not cut to
show off her chest. This new woman (whose former husband was the
immigrant) says she actually really likes Fernanda and Jonathan, but
they're going to have to work together. On the one hand, she has no
one and is stuck at home. But an hour is not that long. The host asks
if she has any advice, and after thinking about it she actually says
she doesn't. Her fiance was a different person when he arrived. And
every couple is different. She also knows she is in no position to
give advice to anyone. After some updates on this woman, who I don't
know, we get Ashley's two bridesmaids. They get really Mean Girls
about Natalie and how she sucks. Also she came for a fight and not as
a friend. Natalie could have been polite about it. I guess, but I
doubt Ashley would have ever listened. The host asks if Natalie does
this all the time, and they chalk up the whole thing to jealousy.
Brandi says she herself a good friend, but she's not banging on the
door all crazy. They think Jay does love Ashley, but like, Brandi
can't even say that with a straight face. He's just not mature,
because he's too young and that's just how it is. Brandi admits she's
divorced and her ex is way younger than her. She means five years.
Sigh. As long as Ashley believes in them, then yeah, they support the
two of them. He's not “bad” immature, he's “fun” immature. Uh
huh. Now it's time for Tara, who is Steven's close family friend.
Tara is like his surrogate mother. She tells him (in some show
footage) it's not about the two of them, it's about his son. Steven
insists he gets it, but as we have seen he does not get it. She
claims Steven was a ladies' man, but also wasn't sleeping around.
Serial monogamy, I guess. Olga was his first serious relationship,
though. Tara doesn't think Olga wants a green card, she sees maturity
and she is sure that she's beautiful inside and out. When Steven told
her he was going to be a father, she was sure he would “make it
right”. He's just young. Uh huh. The host brings up how Steven has
been an ass to Olga. Tara admits she didn't like it, but she also
insists that he was acting out because of fear, and it's not him at
all. Well I hope so, but I feel like she's not insisting it's false
editing or something. The host asks for advice, because he needs to
knock it off. And Tara does agree he needs to knock it off, and she
says she's going to sit him down and talk to him. She doesn't like
how he's being presented because that's not him. No, I think that's
him, but you're “mom” and he treats you differently. Tara admits
she was also freaked out that Steven said he'd take Richie away from
Olga. Oh she's convinced someone is telling him that because she's
sure he wants both of them. Nope. He doesn't care. Tara claims that
he is telling her that he plans to marry Olga and bring her here. I'd
like to note that it sounds like he's back in the US and doesn't have
his son with him, which is great. And I think she did say “editing”,
but also that she's going to sit him down and have a talk with him.
If she really believed the editing was making him look bad and he was
really a great guy, then I don't think she'd bother to talk to him.
After an extended thing about some other season, we're done. This has
taken me all damn afternoon.
