Welcome to Leg 8! Last time, on Everyone Loves Maggot Cheese, 5 teams continued racing through the island of Corsica. The twins struggled with lots of things, and Ryan and Dusty kept flipping their canoe. YouTube finished in first place (again) and Bollywood came in last (AGAIN) and amazing found a Non-Elimination Leg (AGAIN!!!). Who will be eliminated. . . next? (click for more)

Teams are escorted to Figari-Sud Corse Airport, and their charter flight to a new destination. Once there, teams will be transported to the Pit Start Location, Peraia Beach in Thermaikos, Greece.

Clue: Drive yourselves to the town of Nea Gonia in Halkidiki, and find the Konstaninos Olive Grove to search for your next clue.

9:15 AM Lulu/Lala (4th) – have decided they need to make no mistakes today. We’ll see how that goes.
9:30 AM Arun/Natalia (5th)
Teams drive themselves (Toyouke: “Ah stick shift.”) to Nea Gonia and arrive at the olive grove in the following order:
1- Raquel/Cayla
2- Kim/Penn
3- Ryan/Dusty
4- Lulu/Lala
5- Arun/Natalia
Teams have to find their clues at the tops of the olive trees. (Toyouke: “Why are they up so high? You rigging this for Penn?”) Teams get their clues in the following order:
1- Kim/Penn
2- Raquel/Cayla
3- Lulu/Lala
4- Ryan/Dusty
5- Arun/Natalia
Teams are now instructed to drive themselves to Marianna’s Vineyard to get their next clue. Teams arrive in the following order:
1- Kim/Penn
2- Raquel/Cayla
3- Lulu/Lala
4- Ryan/Dusty
5- Arun/Natalia
When they rip open the clue, teams get the seventh roadblock.
ROADBLOCK:
Who likes to wrap?
In this roadblock, one team member must prepare 60 dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) and arrange them properly in order to get their next clue from Marianna.
The following teammates take the Roadblock:
1- Kim
2- Raquel – who doesn’t realize the veins have to be on the inside. (Toyouke: “This woman is savage.”)
3- Lala
4- Dusty – “Oh, they’re like leaf burritos!”
5- Arun
After much knot tying, teams complete the Roadblock in the following order:
1- Kim/Penn
2- Ryan/Dusty
3- Lulu/Lala
4- Arun/Natalia
5- Raquel/Cayla
Teams are now instructed to drive themselves to the town of Heraklea and find Mamo’s Kantina Stand on the beach. Teams arrive in the following order:
1- Kim/Penn
2- Ryan/Dusty
3- Raquel/Cayla
4- Arun/Natalia
5- Lulu/Lala
Teams are instructed to ask for the special of the day (souvlaki) and then spell it in order to get one. (Toyouke: “What? "Spell correctly and you get food"? This challenge is lame.”) Once they finish eating it, the teams will find their clue written on the sandwich wrapper. Teams finish their sandwich and get their clue in the following order:
1- Kim/Penn – who throw their wrapper away.
2- Ryan/Dusty
3- Raquel/Cayla – who throw their wrapper away, and then aren’t even sure if it is a clue. (Toyouke: “OK it's one thing to throw the wrapper away without looking at it. It's a whole different thing to see something that obvious and be skeptical about it.”)
4- Arun/Natalia – who can’t spell, and then throw their wrapper away.
5- Lulu/Lala – who get lost, find the Pit Stop (Toyouke: “Been a while since someone went to the Pit Stop out of order, although I'm not sure how it happened.”), come back, can’t spell, end up eating three souvlaki, and throwing their wrapper away each time.
Teams find (eventually) that they are to travel to St. George’s Church in Heraklea to get their next clue. Teams arrive in the following order:
1- Kim/Penn
2- Ryan/Dusty
3- Raquel/Cayla
4- Arun/Natalia
5- Lulu/Lala
When they rip open the clue, teams get the eighth roadblock. (Toyouke: “Oo, double Roadblock. I wonder if a Detour fell through.”)
ROADBLOCK:
Who wants to be iconic?
In this roadblock, one team member must listen to a fifteen minute speech about ten saints of the Greek Orthodox Church. Once the speech is complete, roadblockers find the vendor and answer a five question quiz about the saints:
1) Which saint was put to death on Christmas Day, December 25th? (Saint Anastasia)
2) Which saint's name is derived from the Greek word for peace? (Saint Irene)
3) Which is the patron saint of travelers? (Saint Christopher)
4) Which saint lived in an almond tree for three years? (Saint David of Thessaloniki)
5) Which saint served in the Roman army under the emperor Decius? (Saint Mercurius)
Roadblockers must pick the correct saint picture and place them in the correct order to get their next clue. If not correct, they must go back and listen to the speech again. If you did not take the previous roadblock, you must complete this one.
The following teammates take the Roadblock:
1- Penn – (Toyouke: “I don't hate the discussion of hyperfixation as a facet of ADHD that no one talks about.”)
2- Ryan
3- Cayla
4- Natalia
5- Lulu
After much saint identifying, teams complete the Roadblock in the following order:
1- Kim/Penn
2- Ryan/Dusty
3- Raquel/Cayla
4- Arun/Natalia
5- Lulu/Lala
Teams are now instructed to drive themselves to Nea Kallikrateia, the PIT STOP of the eighth leg of this racearoundtheworld. The last team to arrive MAY be eliminated!
1- Kim/Penn – who win $7500 each. And their third leg in a row. (Toyouke: “Kim and Penn are growing on me and some of that is that the longer the race goes on, the less "on" they are. I don't think I'm getting used to them being on all the time? I guess that's possible. Also you can't argue that they are GOOD at this.”)
2- Raquel/Cayla
3- Ryan/Dusty
4- Arun/Natalia – (Toyouke: “But for real how many lives do they have?”)
5- Lulu/Lala
And Lulu and Lala are the last team to arrive and are eliminated from the race. All they can say is thank you for everything, and then jumped in the Aegean Sea. Phil: “That’s the most dramatic exit we’ve had in a while.”
