Welcome to Leg 9! Last time, on Barging In On Someone’s Wedding and Bringing Them Livestock Sounds Like Fun!, six teams travel from Italy to Greece. The last Double U-Turn rears its ugly head, and pits Team Fun against the Hipsters. But since Liz and Michael had a Speed Bump from the previous leg, it put them even further behind, leading to their elimination. Who will be eliminated. . . next? (click for more)

Clue: Make your way by taxi to the Corinth Canal to get your next clue.
Matt is very happy with the way he and Redmond are getting along, dad jokes and all.

5:23 PM Becca/Floyd (5th) – and Becca exclaims that they are Funstoppable.
So teams travel to the Corinth Canal and in the following order:
1- Tara/Joey
2- Matt/Redmond
3- Brooke/Scott
4- London/Logan
5- Becca/Floyd
Once they arrive, teams get the eighth roadblock clue.
ROADBLOCK:
Who’s ready for the long stretch?
In this roadblock, one team member must bungee jump face first 240 feet into the Corinth Canal to get their next clue. Sound familiar? That’s because this is a Switchback, a task previously performed on the race in the same location. This one is from TAR9, but it’s not horribly memorable aside from the fact that people had to jump off the bridge. So, woot.
The following teammates take the Roadblock:
1- Joey
2- Matt – Redmond: “Break a leg!”
3- Scott – who is somehow doing his third height related task. Hot Greek Bungee Guide: “Come to the ledge.” Scott: “I can’t come!” (Toyouke: "It wouldn't be such an issue if Brooke wasn't so useless.")
4- Logan
5- Becca
After much bungee jumping, teams complete the Roadblock in the following order:
1- Tara/Joey
2- Matt/Redmond
3- Brooke/Scott
4- London/Logan
5- Becca/Floyd
Teams are now instructed to fly to Hanoi, Vietnam! Once there, teams are instructed to make their way to Tuong Dai Ly Thai To and search for their next clue. We find out that all the teams are on the same flights to Hanoi (shocker!) and take the Amazing Purple Line to get there. Teams arrive in Hanoi in the following order:
1- Becca/Floyd
2- London/Logan
3- Matt/Redmond
4- Brooke/Scott
5- Tara/Joey
Teams arrive at Tuong Dai Ly Thai To in the following order:
1- Becca/Floyd
2- Brooke/Scott
3- London/Logan
4- Matt/Redmond
5- Tara/Joey
Teams were instructed to search for their clue, but what they weren’t told was that one blade of everyone’s red fans were painted yellow, and those were the people that team members had to talk to in order to get their clue. So, teams track down their clues in the following order:
1- Becca/Floyd
2- Brooke/Scott
3- London/Logan
4- Matt/Redmond
5- Tara/Joey
Teams are now instructed to make their way to Quan Su Temple to get their next clue. Teams arrive in the following order:
1- Becca/Floyd
2- Brooke/Scott
3- Matt/Redmond
4- London/Logan
5- Tara/Joey
And we get the Detour Clue.
DETOUR:
Bamboo Climb OR Window Design
*Bamboo Climb: Teams are instructed to travel by foot to 42 Hang Vai Street and pick up one of three marked ladders. Once there, teams make their way to 56 Cau Go Street, make their way to the top floor and use the ladder to retrieve a birdcage. Teams then take the ladder and birdcage back to 42 Hang Vai and give them to the owner to get their next clue.
*Window Design: Teams are instructed to travel by foot to 41 Cua Nam Street and retrieve three mannequins: one male, one female and one child, and deliver them to a shop on Chan Cam Street, where they must use a picture and the provided items to replicate the store window perfectly. Once approved, the owner would give them their next clue.
1- Becca/Floyd choose Bamboo Climb
2- Matt/Redmond choose Bamboo Climb
3- London/Logan choose Bamboo Climb – Logan: “Don’t slow down or I’ll stab you in the butt.”
4- Brooke/Scott choose Window Design – to be fair, Brooke and Scott were actually at the ladder shop second. Matt and Redmond found the second marked ladder, and as London and Logan arrive, they spot the third ladder, but London climbs up faster than Brooke to retrieve it, so Brooke and Scott carry mannequins. And Brooke Flos the whole way. (Toyouke: "For real.")
5- Tara/Joey choose Window Design – who also head to the ladders but are too late. Then they switch detours and misread the clue. #ReadYourClue They pick up two mannequins and have to go back to get the third. And Joey drops a mannequin. “I just broke up with her, she took it so hard.”
Much carrying objects ensues. So, teams complete the detour in the following order:
1- Becca/Floyd
2- Matt/Redmond
3- London/Logan
4- Brooke/Scott
5- Tara/Joey
Teams find now that they must make their way to Thong Nhat Park, the PIT STOP of the ninth leg of this racearoundtheworld. The last team to arrive MAY be eliminated!
1- Becca/Floyd – who win a trip for two to the Galapagos Islands, a cruise, and 14 guided tours of the island.
2- Matt/Redmond – Matt: “We’re going to Thong Park!” Becca: “Un-boy-lievable!”
3- London/Logan
4- Brooke/Scott
5- Tara/Joey
And Tara and Joey are the last to arrive. . . on the third of three non-elimination legs and are still in the Race! They have a Speed Bump on the next leg, though.
