And Ryan and Dusty failed at a simple task. Again. The Flight Attendants finished first. AGAIN. And Arun and Natalia were eliminated. AGAIN!! But now we can finish this 2 year long race. Who will win The Amazing Race 33? (click for more)

Arrival at the pit stop last episode:

1st – Raquel and Cayla, The Flight Attendants

2nd – Kim and Penn, The YouTube Parents

3rd – Ryan and Dusty, Team Not Guilty

Faro de Cabo Espichel, Cabo Espichel, Portugal

Teams are escorted to Lisbon Airport, and their charter flight to their FINAL DESTINATION CITY, Los Angeles California! Once there, teams are transported to their starting location, the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.

Westin Bonaventure Hotel, Los Angeles, California, USA

Raquel/Cayla (1st)

Clue: Welcome to your FINAL DESTINATION CITY: Los Angeles, California, USA! Search the rooftops of the four towers of the Bonaventure Hotel for your next clue. There are only three clue boxes, one on each tower, and each has a lock. To get the combination, you must search up and down.

Kim/Penn (2nd)

Ryan/Dusty (3rd)

Teams must figure out that the combinations are on the elevators and open their clue boxes. Teams each find clue boxes in the following order:

1- Ryan/Dusty

2- Kim/Penn

3- Raquel/Cayla

Teams then find their combinations and get their clues in the following order:

1- Raquel/Cayla – with combo 0615.

2- Kim/Penn – with combo 2193.

3- Ryan/Dusty – with combo 1025.

(Toyouke: “I did like the elevator thing but in terms of trickery it was just OK.”) Teams are now instructed to drive themselves to El Pueblo de Los Angeles National Monument to get their next clue. Teams arrive in the following order:

1- Kim/Penn

2- Raquel/Cayla

3- Ryan/Dusty

Teams must now find three parts to their next clue by smashing pinatas hung around the monument. One team member must wear a luchador mask and swing at the pinatas while the other team member guides the to hit a taco, a small donkey, and a completely paper star. Once all three parts to the clue had been found, the blindfold could be removed and teams could read the clue.

The following teammates were blindfolded:

1- Penn

2- Raquel

3- Dusty

The following teammates did the directing:

1- Kim

2- Cayla

3- Ryan

After much pinata breaking, teams completed the task in the following order:

1- Raquel/Cayla

2- Kim/Penn

3- Ryan/Dusty

The completed clue reads “6465 Sunset Boulevard Hollywood”, which is home to S.I.R. Hollywood. Teams had to drive themselves. Teams arrive and get their clues in the following order:

1- Raquel/Cayla

2- Kim/Penn

3- Ryan/Dusty

Teams are now instructed to choose a studio and become Foley Artists by recreating sound effects from five of the most iconic moments from the first 32 seasons of The Amazing Race:

TAR 24 Leg 10: Running With the Ballz Detour (putting on a Zorb and running around looking for clues)

TAR 6 Leg 3: The Original Swedish Roulette Roadblock (HI LENA!)

TAR 17 Leg 1: The Giant Watermelon Slingshot Roadblock (and Claire getting hit in the face)

TAR14 Leg 2: Austrian Folly Detour (throwing pies at your partner to get one with cherry filling)

TAR 5 Leg 11: Plow Detour (Colin: “My Ox Is Broken!”)

(Toyouke: “Are all these "iconic" scenes? Was the "Running of the Bullz" that iconic? But they included Swedish Roulette so I can't be too mad about it.”)

Once approved by the Foley Artist, teams get their next clues in the following order:

1- Raquel/Cayla

2- Kim/Penn

3- Ryan/Dusty

Teams are now instructed to drive themselves to the home of the LA Galaxy to get their next clue. Teams arrive in the following order:

1- Raquel/Cayla

2- Kim/Penn

3- Ryan/Dusty

Once they arrive, teams get the final task.

FINAL TASK:

Riddle Me This!

In this final task, both team members must answer 13 question quiz about their time on the race by placing tennis rackets with information and images on the hooks over each of the questions. Many of the rackets have misleading pictures, and the puzzles are written with the individual teams in mind. Once the line judge determines all questions correct, teams run through the tunnel.

The Quiz:

It went this far up: 8000 feet, Cable Car at Schwagalp Pass

He joined you throughout the leg: The Travelocity Roaming Gnome

You checked in here: Parco Ciani in Lugano

This mode of transportation took you the rest of the way: The golf cart at Fromagerie Fermière

Under this he pointed the way: Napoleon at U Rastello

He greeted you with a smile an a drink: The Greeter at Pit Stop 7, Bonifacio Cliffs

It is plated correctly: Dolmades

Something you had to eat: Souvlaki

You found this under a rock: The Grek Coin

You were greeted at the Pit Stop with these words: Diogenes – “You have two ears and one tongue, so listen more and speak less.”

You took this to number 10: The boat with the Team’s Portuguese Explorer

You painted this: The sardine can the Team painted

It fell out as well: Candy from the pinata

Much sorting ensues. Teams get mostly correct and then start second guessing themselves. Teams finish the task in the following order:

1- Kim/Penn

2- Raquel/Cayla

3- Ryan/Dusty

(Toyouke: “I find it a bit suspicious that the final challenge was images and Kim just HAPPENED to draw images after every leg. Not that she took notes but that she took notes by drawing and pictures are what was needed.”)

Teams find now that they must run through the tunnel to the FINISH LINE of this racearoundtheworld. The first team to arrive will WIN the Amazing Race!

1- Kim/Penn

2- Raquel/Cayla

3- Ryan/Dusty

17 cities, 7 countries, Kim and Penn, you are the winners of The Amazing Race 33! Of course, Penn makes sure to thank the camera crew. (Toyouke: “I can't fault them because they ran a strong season and they were on top of so many legs. But this final challenge felt like they brute forced it until they were right. Like it came down to who remembered what candy fell out of a pinata when they were looking for something else. However you CAN say the boys lost because they spent too much time looking for the clue on the elevator.”)

ORDER NOW:

1st – Kim/Penn

2nd – Raquel/Cayla

3rd – Ryan/Dusty

4th – Arun/Natalia

5th – Lulu/Lala

6th – Akbar/Sheri

7th – Michael/Moe

8th – Anthony/Spencer

9th – Connie/Sam

10th – Caro/Ray

11th – Taylor/Isaiah
