Welcome to Leg 6! Last time, on The Amazing Race European Go Kart Race, 9 teams raced to Dubrovnik, Croatia. The Double U-Turn was controlled by the Trainwreck Alliance, who chose to U-turn Izzy and Paige and Kristine and Rubina. Tucker and Eric end up being a strong team of boys (shocking!) and finish first. There is a four way race in the roadblock, that ends with Hannah and Simone being eliminated. 8:58 AM Tucker/Eric (1st) – and Tucker let us know that he trained to drive stick shift for the Race. (Toyouke: “Oh good, stick shift.”)
Clue: Drive yourselves to Trsteno, Croatia, and find the Trsteno Arboretum. Once there, make your way to the Neptune Statue to pick up your next clue. You have 10 euros for this leg of the race.
9:24 AM Kyland/Taylor (2nd) – and Kyland reminds us this is the highest that they have placed so far.
9:32 AM Jas/Jag (3rd) – Jag mentions that they are excited to drive stick because they own a trucking company that delivers fuel.

10:29 AM Natalie/Stephanie (5th) – Stephanie informs us that she knows how to drive stick, but is not driving because she is the navigator. (Toyouke: “Why wouldn't you have the person who knows stick do the driving? People are making the weirdest choices.”)

12:55 AM Kristine/Rubina (8th) – and we learn that they haven’t spent much time together, but their mom passed away in 2019.
Teams make their way to Trsteno Arboretum. Teams arrive at the Neptune Statue in the following order:
1- Tucker/Eric
2- Jas/Jag
3- Kyland/Taylor
4- Joseph/Adam
5- Natalie/Stephanie
6- Izzy/Paige – who deliberately don’t help Jack and Chelsie find the clue. This is important later.
7- Jack/Chelsie – who struggle finding the non-clue box.
8- Kristine/Rubina
Teams open their clues and we get the fourth Detour Clue.
DETOUR:
Bag It Up OR Pull It Up
*Bag It Up: Teams drive themselves to Ston, and find the Saltworks. Once there, teams must fill up a wheelbarrow with raw salt, fill and seal 10 bags of salt, all which need to weigh between 20 and 21 pounds, and then deliver them to the salt manager at the shipping office. Once all 10 bags weigh in at the appropriate amount, the salt manager will give them their next clue.
*Pull It Up: Teams drive themselves to Mali Ston Bay and choose a marked rowboat. Using the boat, they must go out into the bay and pull up three bags of oysters attached to the marked buoys. Then, the oysters must be delivered to Bota Sare Restaurant, where the owner will give them their next clue.
1- Tucker/Eric choose Bag It Up – who wisely measure one scoop so that they know how much each bag should weigh. (Toyouke: “"Go weigh it after one scoop so we can estimate how many scoops" Is someone being smart? Incredible.”)
2- Kyland/Taylor choose Pull It Up – Kyland: "I'm pretty sure in the bigger boats you're supposed to be sitting backwards" (Toyouke: “It's interesting that you made it to the middle of the bay before trying that, then. And then immediately gave up.”)
3- Jas/Jag choose Bag It Up – who struggle to make it here because they can’t figure out how reverse works. (Toyouke: “Why wouldn't reverse be working? If it's going forward then you have it in the wrong gear. Generally it's labeled on the gearstick. And why would you both get out of the car? I like them but technically they should get a penalty.”)
4- Joseph/Adam choose Bag It Up
5- Natalie/Stephanie choose Pull It Up
6- Izzy/Paige choose Bag It Up
7- Jack/Chelsie choose Bag It Up
8- Kristine/Rubina choose Pull It Up – and Rubina loses her glasses in the water when they fall off her face.
Much salt bag filling and oyster harvesting ensues. So, teams complete the detour in the following order:

4- Natalie/Stephanie
5- Joseph/Adam
6- Izzy/Paige
7- Jack/Chelsie
8- Kristine/Rubina
Teams are now instructed to make their way to Park Komarda in Ston to get their next clue. Teams arrive in the following order:

4- Natalie/Stephanie
5- Joseph/Adam
6- Jack/Chelsie
7- Izzy/Paige
8- Kristine/Rubina
When teams open their clue, teams come to the seventh roadblock.
ROADBLOCK:
Who
knows their way around Croatia?
In
this roadblock, one team member must use a relief map of the town of
Ston and navigate the streets to find 3 checky shields that each
display three facts about Croatia. When they return to Park Komarda,
a history expert will ask them 3 questions about the facts that they
must get correct. What they don’t know is they will be asked
different questions on each attempt. Once they answer three
questions correctly in the same attempt, the historian will give them
their next clue.

After much question answering, teams complete the Roadblock in the following order:

8- Kristine/Rubina – (Toyouke: “I thought they were going to do some classic editing where we don't show Izzy and Paige at the Pit Stop until Kristine and Rubina finish the Roadblock. But we didn't bother and it makes me think it IS non-elim.”)
Teams are now instructed to drive themselves to Prapratno Cove, the PIT STOP of the sixth leg of this racearoundtheworld. The last team to arrive MAY be eliminated!

Kristine and Rubina are the last team to arrive and are eliminated. They wanted to have fun on this leg and they did. They were happy to have watched the show with their mom before she died. They hope Izzy and Paige win because they love an underdog, but Rubina also hopes her boyfriend Tucker does well. (Toyouke: “Tucker's gonna feel some type of way when he sees this.”)
